The new new range finders really arent worth it for most people. If you bowhunt or gun hunt relatively flat land its not necesssary. Also, most tree stands shots it doesnt make a big difference. Where the TBR or ARC or whatever comes into play is if your taking a long shot with a huge angle. for example, your on top of MTN gettin ready to shoot down and across to another mtn at 400 yards with a 40% decline. Then all that stuff comes into play. but the average guy hunting in the woods in the midwest, south or east its typically not needed. Now hunting rams out west you might want it.

I think he's asking about the bowhunting ones. I tell you, if you perch on the side of a ridge those downhill shots can be a real beach. I was wondering if the new ones would help with that.

I have one of the new rangefinders and they dont make much diffrence with the bow unless you are shooting an extreme angle like that of a ridge. On normal shots I would get a 1-2 yard diffrence with the arc and the standerd rangfinder.
