Need advice on hanging tree stand
I've procrastinated enough and finally havea few days off work so I am hanging my climber today here in NC. Bow season started yesterday, but I'll be able to hunt all day tommorrow. It's full moon, and I dont want to run the risk of spooking deer off, so I wanted some insight on what time to throw my climber on the tree? Everyone I've talked to didnt have much success here yesterday, and they're blaming it on the the full moon. I'm guessing the deer are moving in the heat of the day a bit, and I dont want to run them off hanging the stand in the corner of where a bean field, hardwood ridge, and cutover meet. Any insight?
