Default Any suggestions on stands for me?

I am looking for a stand for this up coming season, I would like a portable stand or even a climbing one that is lightweight, comfortable, not too noisy when setting it up and one that doesn' t break the bank. Any suggesions on which stand I should get?

Ther are so many out there now. The best one I found for the money was at
Wal-Mart. $100 I think now they are around $139 Can' t remember the manufacture
but just check them out. I' ve got three from there. 1 bow and 2 climbers.

I like my Summit Viper, but a very good, comfortable stand at a lower cost in my opinion is the Buckshot (about $175).

Is it true what I read on another site that API is shutting down in April? Hard to believe as popular as their stands are that they would go belly up.Maybe just a rumor??

If I was starting over and buying hang on' s. I would go with the bracket style hang ons (lone wolf, etc). Then just buy a number of brackets, set of climbing sticks and your set with one main stand. Take the stand and sticks with you, no worry about theft and decide on the day what stand is best. Just seems like the best of both worlds, imho.

Howver since I have 10 hang ons and mostly hunt now from the ground, I have no need...but I sure wish this design was available earlier...think of what i could have bought instead of all those stands, cable lock and tree steps[:' (][:@]
