The first deer that i ever shot i took to the butcher. Since then I process them with a few buddies and we usually take our own steaks and roasts but we just split the burger.

We do both. For the burger, steaks, roasts, etc we just do it at the farm. Ice down some brew, get out the equipment and make a day of it. For the sausage we send it to the butcher. Man them venison sticks with the cheese and hot peppers insideare tough to beat!
