Default Grunts, Cans, Rattles, and Calls of all sorts.

Bow season starts here in less than a month and im looking into getting some noise makers. Anyone have any opinions on which calls are a necessity to have in the field? Im taking all the views and opinions i can get.

The Primos can seems to work well.

I use a grunt tube, don't remember the brand I have now, and have a small and large bleat can. I also rattle when appropriate and mix in the cans and grunt tubes to try and sound like several deer together, seems to work better than just using one call.

I seem to use them all. Or at least have them with me. The bleat can is probably my favorite. Followed by the grunt call.

Do any of you guys subscribe to Field and Stream? There was a guy in there who wrote that in 35 years of hunting he has neverheard a doe in estrous bleat. He says he believesit worksb/c it sounds really close to a fawn in distress which could mean there is doe in the area.I personally have never heard a doe in estrous bleat either but have seen the can work.
