RE: Best overall Glass?

There is a huge difference in asking what the "Best" glass is and what your favorite glass is. I really like my Nikon Monarchs and think they are a great pair of binoculars for the $300 I paid for them but I don't think they are the "Best" by any means.

To get close to the "Best" you need to be ready to spend $2,000+ on your next pair of binoculars.

I'm surprised to hear Zeiss Divari ahead of Swarovski, but of course my only zeiss experience has been with the conquests, and their binos, their binos however I thought were good/decent at best, in my comparison with pentax binos, they were a distance behind them.

I love my swaro, maybe have to look at a divari sometime

RE: Best overall Glass?

I have 4 Nikon scopes. 1 buckmaster, 1 omega, and 2 monarch's. I have Nikon ATB 10x42 binos and Nikon range finders. It is obvious I am a big Nikon fan. With that being said, I looked through a buddies Swarvorski 8x42 and all I can say is "wow"!!! Different league but very tempting to drop the coin. For the money Nikon works well for me...
