Kentucky public land

Iam thinking of going to pennyrile for a bow hunt nov 8th-15th. Any one ever hunted there, we chose this area because it is bow only accept for the two day quota gun hunt and its quality managed. I have heard that there is lots of deer, but we are going with only topo maps to guide us ad a gps.

RE: Kentucky public land

Hey dude, I've been hunting there for the last 5 years, I grew up around that area. I seen where that Pennyrile Buck was taken by gun, but that's the
only big buck I've seen. It's a tough area to hunt. I've had much better results on farm land, where deer are more acceptable to seeing and knowing the
presents of humans. Just trying to help you out.
