i have a few, but i like my savage 110 in .243 the best. it's a great little shooter.

I recently gave my favorite deer rifle to my son - a 308Remington 760 carbine topped with a Leupold compact 4X scope. I replaced it with a Marlin 336C 30-30 with a 3 x 9 scope, similar to the Marlin that I shot my first deer with many years ago. While I have other deer rifles, I hope the 336 becomes my favorite.

30-06 bar for the down and dirty in the woods stuff and tree stands
winchester pre 64 type in 300 weatherby fo the bean field

got a sweet tikka lite in 25-06 last year,man what a trigger
shoots 1/2 groups at 100 out the box

Savage 7mm, shot 3 last year, and they did not move an inch. Just the way I like it.

I like flat shooting calibers and bolt action rifles. I own ..257 roberts, 25-06, 30-06, 7mm rem mag, and .300 win mag. Which one do i take,i guess it depends on what mood im in.

Remington 7400 with a Zeiss3x9x40 scope. I dare ANY deer to step within 200 yds! LIGHTS OUT!!
