Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker w/Boss 7mm Rem Mag with a Meopta Meostar R1 4-16X44 AO silver scope held on by a DedNutz Game Reaper 1 piece mount. I have only run 150 gr Swift Sciroccos through it since 1997. Last year was the first time I tried a 150 gr Barnes TSX with superb results.

I started bow hunting back in 92'-93' and haven't hunted with a rifle since, don't get me wrong my wife will tell you that I am still very much into guns just wasn't into them for hunting. Well the last couple years my daughter has been hunting with me some (she's 7 right now) and the bow hunting thing didn't work out for us, so needless to say I have gun hunted with her a few times in the last couple years. Last year she got herself a longhorn spike with a RugerMKII .243, now when I hunted with a rifle I used the RugerMKII .270 but this year I just got a new rifle and I think it will be our "hunting gun" it's a Ruger VT 25/06, it's the one with the light colored stock and stainless grey barrel. I have several to choose from, you would think that I hunted with a rifle a lot but I just have this obsession to buy them
and it drives the wife crazy b/c I only shoot them at the range or the occasional yote night.... Well this year I will be doing quite a bit more hunting with the rifle as my daughter will be hunting with me a lot.....Here's a few of the long guns thatI can choose from.
