I am looking for some software to keep me organized in my scouting as well as my trail camera pictures .If anybody has some information it sure would help. My property is 3 hrs away and Im really going to get better about trying to hunt in the right places when I go up on the weekends

just use windows


go to my documents

right click to make a new folder..name Trail Cam Pics

inside that folder.. new folder named cam 1.. or pond stand.. corn pile.. plot 1.. whatever..

then next cam... do the same thing..



if you have SD card slots in your cams.. buy 2 set of cards .. 1 gigs are like 10 bucks now.. so just name your cam and cards diff.. and then make a key.. cam1 is at the pond.. cam 2 is at.. ... then every time you go up there get the cards and trade the cards out.. then process them at your computer..

MS Excel......I made some print outs/charts, keep track of deer taken....could easily make some scouting charts too. Age, sex, pts, wt, score, etc..etc...

oh yeah.. i was thinking of organizing the pics.. not data

but excell.. deff.. make a chart like said above..
