When you are replying to a thread, you can click the "Notify me via e-mail when someone replies" box, right above the "OK" icon. Unfortunately, that requires you to check your emails to see if you've gotten a reply. I'm not sure if there's another way.

Note also that there's a "subscribe" icon at the top right of each thread. I'm not sure what it does, as I've never used it, but, it may do what you need...

subscribe does the same thing..it just sends you a subscription notice..

other forums i'm on use Simple Machines Forums or vBuliten format forums.. and they have a user control panel that shows threads you automaticly subscribe to by posting..but its not emailed

I have a Browning(BLA)in 308,and for tight quarters it's hard to beat. Purchased a Win model 70 chambered in 7mm 08 last year. Flat shooting with outstanding down range performance. I like 'em both!

Own and use all three... 7mm-08 is the best of the three for all around shooting.

I'd go with the .308, mainly because of the better selection of bullet weights and proven accuracy. And if you come across a bear, the .308 will hit harder!!!
