While you are freezing your butt of all morning in a treestand guess who is back in your cozy warm bed catching some shuteye with your wife? Actually this is a Texas
buck who got cought in a fence and broke his neck. Right now it is layed up at a vet hospital until he is strong enough to be let go into the wild again.

Just think. Imagine all the people who cared for this buck through recovery, only to get wasted during next hunting season!:D With a rack like that, I bet some lucky hunter is thanking those vet people. I sure would be!

You guys don' t actually believe that is real do you? That picture was made by a friend of mine a couple of years back. It' s a mount guys. I see it everytime I' m at his place. This is about the 8th or 9th time this pic has made the rounds for a new generation of computer newbies.

I' ve heard all of the stories that have been aded to this, anywhere from it was a farm raised deer to one from the wild. I' ve also heard that the deer was from Texas and they had it fixed up at Texas A&M. That' s all fabricated. Trust me on this one. Ask yourself this " have you ever seen a rack from texas that has even half that mass? Reality check time folks..
