Cam Pics of Bears,Bobcats,and Coyotes

Heres a change of pace fron all buck pics,a mix of animals that get caught on camera -

After taking a close-up in the sows face this sow and cub preceded to destroy an early camtracker I had and left it bitten and torn apart hanging from the tree.

The bobcat was a surprise and the coyotes turn up all the time up here now on game cams. The cameras get them all sooner or later.

I figure factoring in repair costs the bear pics cost me about $45 apiece! I' m not very keen on bear pics anymore.Still hoping for another bobcat pic.

Nice pictures, I`ve had problems getting full pictures of bears. They seem to go behind my camera and chew on it. I had one bear roll my camera about 20 yards while getting flashed in the face.

Lot of people feel its the film smell that causes bears to show such interest in cams. All I know is they play very rough and the cams usually come out the loser!

How did you get the bobcat picture. I have been trying for years. Did you do anything special or did he wonder to your camera.

Just came down a deer trail where I had already gotten deer and coyote pics from same set-up.I have gotten one and my hunting partner has gotten one in several years of camming.Probably up here if you were going for strictly bobcat pics a run down in the thick cedar where they hunt snowshoe rabbits in the winter would be the best.Problem is you would get tons of rabbit pics for every cat.[:@]

Nice pic' s

I haven' t got a coyote or bobcat on my Deer-Cam yet either. Last year I never took my camera down, and this year I haven' t even put it out yet.

I have a friend who had a camera damaged by a monster boar hog. The hog kept rubbing the tree until the rope holding the cam wore into. When it fell, the hog just fed around andstepped all over it.

It was no big deal,it was an early one with pretty much none of the features they have now and that was what got me into the woodswatchers to begin with.I traded my old camtracker for a woodswatcher and liked them so much I bought two more!Woodswatchers are smaller and easier to hide with a lot of neat features and are wayyyyyy better on battery life. ;)
