I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago when I mowed my area, and they were leery about the change. I gave it a few days, and kept the feeder going and within a week , things had gone back to normal and the deer came back. Just give them some time to get used to it and feel safe again....

No worries.... But these days I make sure I do my cutting well before the season starts. It gives them plenty of time to get used to it.

God Bless
