I sell carbon arrows from $39.99 to $199.99 per dozen. To a point you get what you pay for.

I'd be leary to shoot the low-end cheaper carbons. You simply have to pay for the tighter tolerenced and more consistent shafts. The average quality carbon is going to run ya around $100 per dozen. Now, I will admit that the CX Aramid KV shafts that I'm playing with now cost $200 per dozen.... that's gettingcrazy! Still, I always expect to pay atleast $100 for CX 3D Selects, Maxima Hunters, Maxima Selects, Gold Tips Pros, etc. I have been paying that much for quality arrows since the early 90's when I first choose Easton ACC's. I couldn't imagine wanting to short change myself with cheap arrows when it comes to that once-in-a-lifetime shot??? Good luck and good shootin'

I bought my last dozen Easton Lightspeeds at Mountain Archery for $94 bucks. Before that, I bought Gold Tip XT's for $65 per dozen.

They are high, but consider what they do for you. A golfer will spend much more on green fees and have nothing to show for it at the end of the day but a badly bruised ego. Just buy plenty, the price is only going up.

Nothing, I shoot aluminum arrows. On a serious note your probably not going to get decent quality control until you reach the 60-80 dollar mark per dozen. Cheap carbons are usually cheap for reason. I mean they will work but don't expect the consistency you will get out of more expensive ones.

This is why I went back to shooting aluminum arrows, for the money the quality control is still very good.

What kind of problems are you folks having with cheap carbons? I've never heard anyone complain about their hunting arrows. Have ya'll had first hand experience with some sort of failure or just not shooting good?
