This was taken about a mile from where I hunt.

Swamp, hope his genes make it your way. Great looking animal, my neighbour shot one this fall that was similar...it looked really out of place for a saskatchewan whitetail. We do have some nice non typie' s roaming but they tend to be droptined with symetrical racks, not globs of bone and bladed points. One word " AWESOME" .

Skeeter actually I believe that may be the deer I kicked up on the second day of the season while walking back to my stand after lunch!

That evening I burned my sling!

My oh my,what a nice northeastern buck! Thats what keeps us hunting and hoping each season.You can bet he spread his genes in your hunting area the last few years! NICE

Wow, incredible animal! I am sure you have to be wondering how close you were to that animal on any given day that you were out hunting. Something like that always springs a little bit of hope in my heart...
