RE: what bullet do you use?
As an Illinois resident, limited to shotguns and muzzleloaders for deer, I use trusty 'ol Winchester Super-X BRI sabot slugs. They work great for my application.
The technology for shotgun slugs and muzzleloader loads amazes me these days. Some of the newer rounds are getting out there a good distance …eh? I'm a bit jealous though. I'd love tobring my trusty Remington 700to the woods with me. Maybe an out of state hunting trip is in order! :) |

RE: what bullet do you use?
Deer aren't hard to kill, in my 30-06 I just buy winchester 150 grain psp loads. I hunt in Florida were the ranges are short, if I hunted were a longer shot were posssible I'd switch to a premium 165 grain boattail.
