Ok, I think it has been long enough..

Has ANYONE on here tried the CVA Electra? (electric ignition Muzzle-loader). I have been waiting for a review and unless I missed something I never saw one. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks, Greg

check your local rules and regs, the electra is illegal to use here during the ML season

They are legal in both Oklahoma and Ks, which is where i do the majority of my hunting.

I live in Oklahoma and I wouldn't own one. Ifwe are talking about the muzzleloader that uses a battery to create a spark. I think the thing is a gimmick!! Could you imagine if you got a bad battery and it didn't fire when a monster buck walks by. What is the real benefitto this product??

Plus, the hassle of having to worry if it is charged etc.. I will just stick with the old fashioned 209 primers, because it isn't like it is a hassle to put a 209 primerin my gun. Secondly, it is a one shot deal, it may make more sense if it was arapid fire type gun.

IMHO, I wouldn't waste my money on it.

Just wondering guys. I am buying a Knight anyway, just kind of wondered if this worked. Just tired of the old remington, not too reliable anymore.

i'm sure they work ok and might be more reliable in wet cond. but i like 209's better like Robb said
