Are those birds dive bombing you?

Man, talk about a funnel. When your rut kicks in, just place a decoy by that opening and rattle a little.... your going to have fun.

Yeh, those birds really come out when I cut the grass.
I have about 15 - 18 deer come to the field every night.
My bow season open Sept. 13th and my 1st deer must be antlerless.
I am gonna get my permits also, so that will be regular fall bow from Sept. 13 th to Oct. 3rd.
Then permit bow from Nov. 1st to Dec. 24th and Dec. 26th to the 31st.
Winter bow is Jan. 1 - 31st of 2009.
But gun season really screw these deer up since there are a lot of clubs around here and they mostly do club drives.
I do all pot hunting myself.
The only one that goes with me is my brother and my wife.

State in divided into zones.
I need to by a fall bow permit ( $28.00 ) for a zone and it is good for all the days of that zone.
Every zone has differnt dates.
My zone permit will be good for Nov. 1st to Dec. 24th and Dec. 26th to the 31st.
Each zone needs it's own permit, so if you are hunting bow permit in two or moredifferent zones, you need a bow permit for each zone at $28.00 each zone.
That is on top of your regularbow hunting license fee of $31.50.
Oh, and don't get me started about the bonus buck stub that are also $28.00 .

So for New Jersey deer hunting: ( 2007 prices )

Regular bow and arrow license $31.50
Bow and arrow permit $28.00 for each zone that you hunt.
Bonus buck stub $28.00

Six day firearm license $27.50
Shotgun permit $28.00 foreach zone that you hunt.
bonus buck stub $28.00

So for me I hunt my regular seasons,+ 2 zones for each season, and if I get both bonus buck studs, that's $227.00 and that's for a resident hunter.

That's Jersey for ya. [:-][:-]

Not that I doubted you 2robinhood, but that second round of vids definitely makes it clear. You got yourself a bonifidehoney-hole for sure!! Glad to see you're gonna bowhunt it, as I'm sure other guys in the area have probablyspotted the action. Don't know how many buck tags you guys get, but I'd bet yours will be filled way before rut time. Lookin' forward to some pics shortly after the season opens :)Best of luck to you!

Man,people have been spotting my field hard at night.
It is like a switch got turned off.
I put my trail cam out, right at the hole in the fence and ony caught a few deer, days apart.
I haven't gone into the woods.
Hopefully something will still happen for me when bow season hits.
But man, pictures are a far cry from what the videos were.
