I have never hunted this area, I have seen some big bucks down there during turkey season. I hunt up north near Republic. I hear that most of the land down south from Goldendale to Walla Walla is hard to get access to due to leases.

Isn't this one of the areas where the Mullies are having the hair loss issues? Overall numbers pretty good? I'm headed to NE WA for the first time this year myself. Good luck.

Did you check your drawing results? I drew the second deer (antlerless) tag for Mica Peak/GMU 127. I am considering buying a pass to Inland Paper Company and doing ALL my hunting there.. 2x deer, and hopefully an elk. Have you hunted IEPC? otherwise, I could knock on some doors prior to opening (any luck with this in 127?) and hunt the rest in 113 or 117 (Selkirk, 49 Degrees N).

I'm hoping that high gas prices will keep a lot of west siders closer to home this year..

Just found out I drew 2205 LEWIS RIVER. Never hunted their so I'll have to do some scouting this summer. I'd bet the snow would have a factor in where the elk are during that time since its late Nov.

I would hope that it snows a ton as it may push them all to the river bottoms.. Go get 'em!

I hunted IEPC before they raised their rates on the pass. I was surprised with how many people there were. I would try knocking on some doors. I am not sure IEPC is worth the money.
