Deer are curious. Many more will respond to a doe bleet. Many times does and young bucks will stay away from mature grunts. Now if you only want to see mature bucks, then the mature grunt call might be better.

I' d have to stick with the doe bleat for a couple reasons:
1. I believe a doe bleat can be used year round, even in the dead of winter, with the same results.
2. It attracts all deer, not just the big mature bucks.
3. It is the only call I have ever used that stopped a spooked deer dead in tracks as it was running away.
