Just trying to see what others have? Why do you use the scope you use?

I got a Nikon 4.5-14x40 BDC , It get's the job done.

my most recent scope purchase was a Pentax Light Seeker. i bought it because it was brighter and clearer than the Leupold vxI, vxII, vxIII and Nikon scopes that were there.

Trijicon Tr22. I can shoot in almost complete black. I have been in the stand for HOURS after my buddies have gone in for dinner. BTW I am shooting hogs not deer. The glowing triangle is the best and the 56mm bell just seems to bring in a lot of light.

most scopes I have are Leupolds VX-II in 3-9x40, I have one VX-III in 3.5-10x50, and one West German made ZEISS in 3-9x36

Zeiss Conquest 4.5 - 14 x 44m on all my rifles. Except my .30-30 which is topped with a Swift 3x9 I bought 18 years ago.

No.1 hunting rifle , a 308 Win. Styer has a Swarovski 1.5 - 6 (30 mm tube) x 42, heavy plex. I chose this scope because it was a gift from my wife. That should be enough of a reason !!!

vari x III 3.5-10x50 on a Remington Model Seven .243 (no, not the model 700, the model seven. its a smaller, lighter version that i prefer for its weight and quick handling.)

Always was a leupold man, but have been on a Burris kick the last few years. I have a 3-12 Burris Eurodiamond on my .243 with the ballistic plex and it has proven very easy on the eyes and effective on everything from squirrels to deer out to 500 yards.

I love the Aetec. It's a great scope for the price.

what no one with tasco?? lol i had one on my rifle for a year and now am getting a nikon. there is a big difference i sure learned you get what you pay for with a scope. good thread for sure. leupold seems to be on top here so far. its no suprise tho my dad has a vx III on his .30-06 and he loves it. i like the big bells 40 or above really bring in the light.

I like Leupold, although I do have a few friends that have some nice Nikons. I am using a Leupold Rifleman 3x9x50 on a 30-06, and a Leupold Rifleman 3x9x40 on a .243.

I have several; Swaro AV's, Bushnell Elite 4200, Leuppy, Zeiss Conquest, and a Trijicon coming.

I have a Leupold VX III, 3.5 X 10 X 40 on my 300WSM, and a Nikon Monarch 3X9X40 on my weatherby .270
I love them both.

I have four Leupold 3.5-10x 40 mm VariX III scopes on my four centerfire hunting rifles (.243, .25-06, and two .30-06) (actually one is the updated VX-III, but I'm not seeing that as a major difference). From all I have read, Leupold is a reliable scope manufacturer. Their warranty is said to be totally reliable. My expectation is that I would be able to get my scopes worked on just about anywhere in the US. The specification of these scopes suits all the hunting I do and expect to do. I have found that these scopes provide plenty of light for the legal hunting conditions I encounter -- 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset. In fact, what I find is that my naked eye vision begins to fail (can't see to distinguish game in the field) at a point where I am still able to use the scope to aim and target game. The 10x is plenty of magnification for ~300 yard shot on pronghorn antelope, my most petite quary. If I ever get a .338 Winchester Magnum I'm liable to get a Leupold with a little lower magnification range, maybe 1.5-5x, or something like that.

Nothing against other scope manufacturers. I have high confidence that these scopes are going to do the job for me. I don't need more brightness or sharper optics or an attachment that cooks eggs benedict for me.

Won the M70 for a $25 raffle ticket so I put a nice scope on it.
The Bushnell Banners are a great scope for the price considering the weapons they are mounted on. Most of my shots have been less than 150 yards and they are very clear out to 200 yards.
I will be replacing the Simmons on the Tikka. Don't really need to explain.
The Nikon Monarch looks very nice and I feel rivals a Leupold for less money.

If I had the money, everything would sport a Swarovski!

X2, love it. Has been on my.270 10+ years and never once had a problem and it has seen some ROUGH conditions. Dropped it numerous times in wyoming and still shot like a champ, I have a few deer that can attest to that. Visibility is great on it as well, have taken a few low light shots and had good light in the optics.

I have been rough on mine too ever since i started running deer dogs. It comes in and out of a truck probably over a hundred times a weekend. I might lay it down, it rides in the seat all weekend being knocked around, and bumpingit getting in/out of a treestand. I have wore out a new 4x4 pickup before i have that gun and scope. It is a true testament of quality when it holds up under those conditions.

I have Bushnell,Leupolds, Simmons, Tasco, and Weaver.

By far the best I own right now or my Leupold's and Weavers (some of the Weavers are real old) But I will be purchasing Burris Fullfield IIsoon with the free Trex GPS unit as a promotional special. The scope is a decent scope for the $210.00 price and getting the basic Trex unit with it makes it a good deal.

My friend has the same Burris Fullfield II in the 3 x 9 that I'll be getting and I was pretty impressed with it's quality for the money. Can't wait to order and receive mine.
