How does everyone pick their spots? Here's my situation. I hunt on about 2 miles X 1/2 mile timber surrounded by crop fields witha winding stream the whole way through. Too many trails, full of tracks, to count and even after 3 years the land still suprises me. I could spend a fortune in cameras trying to find the main trails. Tried sitting on scrape and rub areas with little success so now what?

look for areas where the deer are sort of funneled and scout hard, i have seen this b4 where deer cross for no particular reason and these are spots you need to pinpoint, but you couldnt see this on a map, you would have to walk and look

I have plenty pics of some good bucks but they are all in the fields. Heck, my avatar pic is 1 of my better cam pics. So I've set stands and they don't show up. Gotta find the main travel routes.
