I did not know this about whitetails but here is a picture of a male musk deer skull, a distant cousin.
Must be some kind of throw back feature that is trying to reassert itself. The high fence boys, with selective breeding, might just try to bring that trait out. B&C whitetail fangs. I can see it coming. Thanks for the post, ya learn something every day. Bob ![]() |

congrats on the doe. I know the feeling of exitement. A few years ago I shot a doe with ~10" spikes and was still in velvet. I couldn't wait to show it off.
