hunt lease insurance
 
i hunt on a lease in s. arkansas where we lease " hunting rights only" from timber companies. some require us to carry liability coverage on their land and for individuals. the carrier we are using right now has doubled over the last three years. anyone out there have information on hunt lease insurance.thank you. bennie

On our leases the rate has stayed the same. Try Buckmasters or the Quality Deer Management Association. They both offer insurance, but I don' t know their rates. A couple of timber companiies I know of will let you add additional land to your insurance policy, so if you have one that isn' t high you may be able to add to it.

Forest and Landowners Association - 800-325-2954 They have a $350 + .17 cents per acre rate.
