Land Clearing

What types of land clearing projects are you hunters and land owners out there interested in?

Improve hunting areas, widen roads and senderos, open areas for bucks to chase does, food plots, camp sites.....

RE: Land Clearing

Last Saturday I started clearing an old access road on my land. It will help me get to the back of my property without crossing a field. I already, in the last two months, have cleared and tilled about 2 acres for my plots. This weekend Im putting up a new farm gate with a chain and padlock to the entrance of my hunting property, as well as 100 or more posted signs.

I guess the next few thing I need to so is frame up a shooting shack and clear lanes out for my other stands that I will be putting back up!

I guess the work never ends, until a few days before bowseason opens!

Thanks Hoyt Viper and salukipv1

Hunting your own land or long term lease is year round effort for the best hunting.

I'm mainly interested in food plots and improving my small piece of hunting land anyway I can.. Planting certain apple trees and berry bushes as well..
