Food Plots

If anybody has any advice or knows of any good websites with tips for planting a food plot, all information is welcome. If anyone also has suggestions on what to plant, I would like to hear your opinion. I live in Nothern WI and plan on planting in early spring for whitetails.

Welcome to the board. Just below the Deer Forum there is the Wildlife Management Forum, that is where most of the food plot info is.

I'm also from Northern Wisconsin and if i were you i'd get suger beats or/and rape. The deer LOVE the sugar beats when rifle season comes around because thats when they get nice and sweet, but they also like them during early bow season to. I wouldnt get soybeans to much though, we planted alot of them but only 1 deer came into them and that was just in a low corner where no one could see him so we're thinking it was the big buck we got on camera. Next year we're only planting a mix of sugar beats, rape, and winter wheat.. Good luck!
