Last year I started packing really light. When I leave the truck I only have my bow, binocs, call(s), cell phone, camera sometimes, and a radio (only if someone else is there). I used to pack in everything that I thought I would need. But it is only half mile a way if I need a knife or something, so I can go and get it.
Now when I go to Colorado, that is a different story. Got my back pack and it is filled with everything.
