Default Piebald on RDHC's trail cam??

What do ya'll think?

I thought it was maybe the cam, but the deer behind it is normal colored and I've seen deer in this same spot at night and they looked brown.

Could be, I am going to keep a closer eye on this site to see if it shows backup.

Could be, but it is very hard to tell. I would guess flash reflection though.

That was my thought too, but I've seen deer walk through that same spot at about the same time and not noticed that.

Unfortunately the next snapshot both deer were gone as something spooked 'em.

Keep me posted if anyone sees it again!

My issue with the flash/reflection theory is that 1. the other deer's head is in the same direction on a parallel plane but shows no whitening, 2. I've seen other deer in the same spot at a similar time of night thet don't look like that, and 3. I don't believe there's any flash or light source on the camera, I think it's night vision, but I could be wrong.

Looks like one to me. Mostly white too. It has a couple of white spots on its neck as well as it whole body.

When I lived in northern VA there was a bunch of them. They ranged from several spots of white to almost pure white. Several of them where like this one.I know they say they are rare but there were maybe 30 -40 of them where I was. I had a pic (very low rez) on a golf course if I can find them.

I'VE GOTTEN SEVERAL PHOTOS LIKE THAT. ALL OF MINE WERE DO TO THE FLASH AND THE DEER STANDING TOO CLOSE TO THE CAMERA MAKING IT LOOK THAT WAY

It's a still shot from a video feed. There is no flash.
