Once again this is our great politicians at work. It's a shame they do not have something better to do. I could think of a few items
1) gas prices
2) housing market
3) feeding the hungry in this country.
4) economy

The point that is still being overlooked is simply that the vast majority of gun related crimes are being committed by criminals that obtain their guns via illegal avenues. How many gun related crimes are being committed by the normal every day law abiding citizens who follow all of the state and federal requirements and pay all associated fees for background checks, licensing, etc. Not very many. When are these politicians and consertatives going to get through their thick heads that when you disarm a society that violent gun related crime increases. Look at Australia, Great Britain, etc. let's not forget the biggest of all, when the Nazi's took power in Germany.

We should learn from history, lest we be doomed to repeat it.
