umm i would check the thickest areas for beds, try to find some funnels, check for some hardwoods, with good nut producing trees

Look for the thickest brush and see if they are bedding there and then look for trails to food sources. Pretty much what rory said.

Look for new and old rubs on tree's...even if you find old rubs the Bucks will use and travel the same routes year after year if they are in a good area.If you can get out there after a good snow you'll be able to see where the deer are traveling even better.Look for saddles and area's along ridges where the deer will move along also.

look for trails leading in the thick cover , and if there's a creek running throw the woods follow the creek looking for deer crossings. look for old rubs leading to thick cover. hope this helps
