Keith Warren's Outdoor Adventures
Are all of Keith Warren's hunts done on fenced ranches?
I have not watched a lot of his shows, but I caught one within the last year or so,where he was going to Wisconsin for an October Muzzleloader hunt. Being from Wisconsin, I knew the muzzleloader season was after the November rifle season, so that did not make sense. Due to the CWD situation, there are some areas that have extended rifles seasons, but deer would have been under a great deal of hunting pressure in those areas. It would not be the type of place you could just walk in with a TV crew and take a trophy deer. I did not catch where he was hunting in the state. Well I saw his show on again today, and he was hunting in Buffalo County Wisconsin, so I decided to watch. This time he said he was going to one of the few places where you could bowhunt trophy whitetails in the velvet. Well, almost all bucks (except for a few freaks) in Wisconsin loose their velvet before bow season ever starts, so I knew that was not possible. I checked out the place he was hunting on line, and sure enough, it is a fenced ranch. I know some of these ranches are thousands of acers, so the deer are as close to free-range as it gets, but they were promising standing or walking shots: CALL NOW TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT! No refunds,if no animal is harvested. Brush Ranch will guarantee you A standing or walking shot at the trophy you wish to pursue. If it would be Deemed that Brush Ranch was at fault then your hunt monies will be Refunded less the daily rates. So, you basically choose one of these options below, pay your money, and they guarantee you a standing or walking shot. That does not seem right. MANAGEMENT HUNTS up to 123" $1,350 (1 day hunt) Whitetail Prices 124" - 135" $2,750 136" - 145" $3,400 146" - 155" $4,600 156" - 165" $6,000 166" - 175" $8,000 176" - 185" $9,000 186" - 199" $10,000 200" or more for inquire price ELK HUNTS up to 300 " $3,500 301" - 335" $4,800 336" - 359" $5,900 360" - 375" $7,400 376" - 389" $9,500 390" - 400" $10,500 400" or more for inquire price |

RE: Keith Warren's Outdoor Adventures
Yeah I'm not a real big fan of Keith Warren. I was watching him once on a spring bear hunt and the "blind" they were using was this one piece of burlap nailed to two posts. at one point they went to the bait sight and there was a small bear on it, so Keith Warren is talking to the camara man, loudly, with the bear between them. The bear didnt' even look up.

Warren ranks about even with Bushman in my book! Neither of them could hunt their way out of a grocery store!

He hunted here in Ohio too. What caught my attention was that he was rifle hunting, which isn't allowed in Ohio. After watching, I saw that he was hunting on Redman Farms. This is a high fenced area just up the road from me.I know Rex Redman personally, and have been to his farm a few times to see those huge monsters in person.Shawn Chatham ( Chasing the Dream tv show), also filmed a hunt there as well. He shot 3 bucks for a total of about $50,000.00! I guess if you had that much cash to blow, you could have a tv show where you killed 180+ bucks all the time too. These aren't true hunters IMO, just salesmen out to make a buck on videos and tv shows.

They're just feeding the market. For a season of shows they have to have 20 or more successful hunts, and the market demands above average animals harvested. Everybody does the caribou hunts as well as a trip to New Zealand where the odds to shoot something good is pretty good. The trophy whitetail and often elk are hard to come by in the wild. Shockey gets good shows in the wild, but not many others.

His twin brother, Alan, has his own show also. About the same, hunting in places where most of us can't afford to go.

Watching that crap ticks me off. The Nuge was on a show last night shooting high fence deer in Wisconsintoo. It really makes me wonder how many of those guys are the Great White Huntersthey claim to be.

RE: Keith Warren's Outdoor Adventures
makes you wonder how come the keystone cops never got a hunting show going. its not the antics that get me its how they base there sucksess on one key item that made it all possible, and every guy watching figures he has to go out and get one of those over priced gajets or its not going to happen for them. mabe if they knew how most felt about the " realizim " factor they would make a better show.[:'(]
