What' s your favorite caliber for whitetails, or like animal if you don' t have whitetails?

I' m with Rob, .270 is hard to beat. I have a ruger m77 with a stainless steel barrel and an all weather black stock.

I love my 30/06 but the last 2 seasons used my new 7MM Mag starting to love that also

I have to say without a doubt its gotta be my 30.06.
