I would say that depends on how the land is currently setup...
Do you have cover, trees, natural grasses, etc.? Do you have a water source? Do you have feed (food plots)? I would ask yourself what is your property lacking OR what needs the most work and then go from there?

find out how many deer are there and what the doe to buck ratio is. and i agree with SDhunter. it all depends on food sources the layout of the property what adjacent properties have to offer and etc.
