Peeing
 

I have seen this before, but a buddy and I are arguing on it. I've heard it could be used as an attractant. Is this true? Is it bad?

i dont think it really helps or hurts.

In my personal experience with mock scrapes, it has definitely not hurt and most certainly helped.

I don't think it bothers them. I've heard that it could help but i don't have any personal experince with doing it.

Last year I had 2 scrapes about 50 yds from my gun blind. After an evening hunt, I put some Tinks 69 in one, and my own special blend in the other. Tinks didnt get touched, the other was tore up even bigger than before. I dont think it hurts one bit.

deer pee? or your own? deer esturs etc.....they say works, Ive used it for years and never had luck with it, so I don't use it anymore.

makes sense, sure it works for some, or can work, but I dont think its like the deer will come running to you from all over, I think youre better off just worrying about being yourself as scent free as possible rather than adding scents to the environement, also its annoying a drag rag etc......a mock scrape near your stand with some scrape mix sounds like the best idea of any i think, might get a buck coming near your stand to check out who this is, cand work for days etc.....id go that route if any.

bottle up some of your own pee. after a while it smells just like tinks.

I don't think it bothers them pee away in the woods . i have peed in a scrape and that got the buck aggravated. re scraped it bigger
