150"today is not the same as 150" 10 years ago. It seems almost as if baseball players are not the only ones on the juice. Any state in the midwest can put a 150" in the back of your truck. Illinois Iowa, Northern Missouri are the places everyone talks about the most, but I would not say that means they give the best chance. In fact, being from Illinois, I would say Illinois the last place you should come. We have ton of P&Y spikes, but no big deer!

I would guess none of you folks ever looked at Maryland as the winnin state for a 150'' bucks.

The eastern shore offers more 150'' to 170'' than any week long trip to Ohio, Ill or Wis.

Kickin Buck....I dont know where you hunt in Illinois but it doesnt really seem that your farm you hunt is much....I am from Pike County, Illinois and I see more BIG deer than i do spikes...

I say North Missouri, because I live here! LOL.....The thing is, a 150+ incher is hard to kill no matter what state. Numbers of adult Bucks does not raise your chances of killing one. You just have to hunt where they live, scout alittle, and keep your fingers crossed. I pray alot also, seems to help some.

I just love the way you fella's south of the 49th catergorize Canada as if it were a State. lol Study up on your geography. For instance, if you start driving from Windsor Ontrio (across the river from Detroit) it would take you approxmately 24 hrs to get to the Manitoba border, almost 10 hrs to Quebec. Canada is a very large place (larger the the USA).

Oh ya, my vote would be for Alberta (about 32 hrs taking the shortcut through the USA;), much longer on the Canadian side)for 150 plus whitetail on a regular basis. Most folks up here just eat them and tack the antlerson the barn.
