last day of deer season my friend killed his first deer. big ole fat doe.about 130 pounds.he killed it with his grandpaw.he killed it with 223.

Nothin like making memories with someone as important to you as a Grandfather..
The Kill and Rackaremy 2 favorites' when it comes tothe great outdoors. But I'd have to I'd say memories would be my 3rd on my list..

Wow / A Rem.223 taken a deer down kind blows my mind! We here in the Buckeye state are limited to shotgun or muzzleloader firearms for deer. I have a Rem. 223 I use for varmit and have no dout a head shot on a long distance deer would be effective. But if I had an opportunity to rifle hunt for deer Im sure I wouldnt take my 223. Congrats to your freind on first deer and agreat shot.:D

A .223 is more than enough to take down the biggest whitetail, no need for a head shot.

WOW, A 223 KILLED A DEER.,,,,,,A DEER IS ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AS A HUMAN, AND THE MILITARY HAS BEEN USING IT FOR ALMOST 40 YEARS.
