Ct Monster Buck
Hope this picture sticks. I have another of a 10 point This one was taken a few miles down the road a few years ago. Proves we have the genes here. The mount is in a local bait shop and has a tag saying 178 B&C. don't know gross or net. also marked spread 25 inches. this deer was 330 before gutting I don't know why an ungutted weight was logged on the tag? next to it is a bigger 10 point with a snapped G4. I will add the pic later since I am having difficulty loosing this topic several times.

Striper Phil,
That is bigger than the one I saw this year up around Uncassville and Salem. What Shop is it in? I really want to have a look at it. Misplaced Buckeye |

Striper Phil,
That is bigger than the one I saw this year up around Uncassville and Salem. What Shop is it in? I really want to have a look at it. He looks like the Bradford Buck taken in RI 3yrs ago. I saw that on right after it was at the ceck station. Misplaced Buckeye |

RE: Ct Monster Buck
Missplaced Buckeye, They are at B&J Bait & Tackle in Plainfield on Route 12. Take 395 exit 88 go to Route 12 go south 100 yards and down a long driveway there is a hand made sign at the driveway entrance. Open all day Sat and Sun and after 1600 hours weekdays. Where do you hail from I hunt Squaw Rock Road by exit 90. Check "My Connecticut Mount" post a page or so back. I got his grandson this year.

Striper nice deer. What year were they called in?

RE: Ct Monster Buck
Phil,
I'm out here in Oakdale, almost to Salem, Member and RO of the Quaker Hill Rod and Gun Club. I'm a CE/FS instructor. I know where B&J Bait&Tackle is. Haven't done any fishing up that away in a while, last time I was in Planefield was when I bought my Dodge Dakota in '94, no, take that back, was there in '98 (Disch's) for some service work. I might have to take a ride out that way soon. Misplaced Buckeye |

Hello to all the CT sportsmen. I'm new to bowhunting and new to this forum, but as I've come quickly to know, there is quite the body of knowledge here. Thought you might want to take a look at these "boys"....<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle> www.bigbuckclub.com/Photo_CT.htm |

Walk softly and carry a big gun...or just make accurate shots. |
RE: Ct Monster Buck
Monster buck dude!!!!!!

RE: Ct Monster Buck
By looking at the pics, I thing that the score and spread, possibly even weight are way off!!! That first buck is lucky to make 150" gross. By the looks of his ears that spread maybe is 18" at most. 330 is a big weight and would reflect somewhat in the mount, and that one doesn't look close. I am not saying that they are bad deer, just not accurate measurements.
