Duracell seems to be the best.
I have tried duracell rechargables and they did not work as good.

Eveready...Because my hunting buddy works there.....

I really doubt that you will be able to tell the difference between Duracell and Eveready...I would buy their alkaline batteries for longer life....

I have been told that the lithium ion batteries are the best for cold weather. Pretty pricey, but they probaly last a lot longer too.

I've read that in the regular batteries that there isn't a dimes worth of difference in the Duracell-Everready type and the discount store brands.

I use Duracell in all my toys, I have tried cheaper brands, and in my Leica range finder I had to use Duracell, the other brands wouldn't work at all, I thought my rangefinder was broke. So there is a big difference in no name cheap batteries. IMO

I have done my own test on duracell and energizer with a portable tv more then once and the duraceel always outpreformed the (bunny) hands down. Duracell is the only battery that I now use in all my battery operated equipment.
