So I am seriously thinking about going vegeterian before archery season next year to control my scent. I know this is extreme, but hey I consider myself an extreme hunter.

Has anyone else done this? Any noticable differences? How early do I have to start, I was thinking two weeks before the season?

The indians did it.
I'm not sure how long they did it before hunting.

I read about it in a hunting book, sometime in the 80's

Good Luck with it.

It would never work for me. Vegetables give me gas.

Interesting topic.... I have read about the theory and also know of folks that practice it prior to hunting. In all honesty I have tried both not eating meatfor two weeks or so prior to opening day...never made any difference that I can see. But then, I havealways beencareful of wind direction too.

Eat a bunch of Broccolli! That should work out great for you.

I love to deer hunt and I go to many extremes, especially when bowhunting, but that's a little too extreme for me. I've got to have my meat. Eating meat hasn't messed me up yet, that I know of. I'll just take my chances and keep eating meat.
