Then you never drive even 1 mph over the speed limit? I'm more concerned with what I think is moral over what is or isn't legal.

It doesn't matter whose property you are on, yours or someone else's. If game is not in season and you are hunting it plain and simple and you are an outlaw and should be arrested and lose you hunting license. The game does not belong to you. I can't believe anyone who considers themselves a sportsman would even ask a question like that. It isn't "as if you would be a poacher" you would most certainly be a poacher!

That happens sometimes. However, I got it off my chest so all is good.

What a foolish statement. Illegal means illegal period. What part of that is hard for you to grasp? If you go back and read the original post there is absolutely nothing moral about the original question.

I really wonder where some of these "guys" come from? Digging up 10 year old posts and then posting pure ignorance!

Don't you just love it when people try to justify doing an illegal act by inserting their so called morality in to the mix. The truth of the matter is, intentionally violating the law is immoral! The reason we have to have laws is because of the way people rationalize "their" morality to make it fit their whims. Left up to the morality of people rather than laws we would have anarchy!

I sure hope this isn't a genetic problem and you're one of triplets.

It is no different than poaching. That being said there are people that eat it year round. Before welfare was bad, people did it. Personally in farm country or other areas with tons of the field rats, I don't care. But doesn't make it legal.

I lived in areas, where I wish more people would.

If I had a family to feed, wouldn't bother me in the least. As it is legal deer is enough.

I get this. Area with few deer, I would consider it unethical. Shotting for the rack, unethical too.

Farmers got shoot these things. Get block permits to slaughter as many as they can. Run them over in the fields. No different than shooting racoon in the garbage.

We just don't like it, cause we blame our lack of sucess on it.
