Hunting Blind any recommendations
I have a place where a Blind would be very advantageous this January and wondering if anyone can recommend a good quality blind for 2 people. Thanks

Double Bull. I think the ameristep blinds are decent if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

oldelkhunter,
I have several blinds since I do not hunt out of trees (family request). The best I have is an Ameristep Brickhouse. I have had it now for 3 seasons. I just retrieved it this weekend but had it out since just prior to October. Pro's 1. The hub style blind is very sturdy in the wind and weather. 2. The windows in the Brickhouse begin low enough so when sitting in a standard camp chair your arrow is not going to go through the blind. I have others that I can only gun hunt out of because the windows are too high. 3. Reasonable price. I believe they can be had for $159-$179 4. Plenty of room for 2 gun hunters. Plenty of room for 1 bow hunter. I've done 2 but it was tighter than i would have liked. Con's 1. The material cups where the poles attach to the bottom of the blind wore out against the ground. This was easily fixed but it happened to 3 of them. 2. I'd like the option of loops and zippers for the windows. This blind has only the zipper. I've been in a double bull and the quality of the DB is better. However it is a lot heavier to carry out and I would not leave a $400 blind out in the woods for 3 months |

What Danny D said,I use an Ameristep Penthouse blind its been
out since first of November,no problems, has tsc and brush it in to help break the outline, love it! |

If I recall correctly, the Penthouse is the larger version of the Brickhouse. That thing is huge. You could fit a medium sized family in it. Real nice blind too

We have 4 of the DB blinds and they have worked flawlessly for us. If you conceal them and control your scent I think any of them will do the job.
