Which would you prefer to shoot?

While I would love to shoot an elk, second choice would be a nice mule deer, mainly because there aren't any in my part of the country.

I would love a big mulie.....I have taken a pile of whitetails, no big ones....I have been antelope hunting a few times and find myself mezmorized when I see the mulies....

I'm all for shooting anything. But for now, whitetail buck of any size will do.

I would love to shoot a 30" Mulie but it is my Dream to shoot a B&C Whitetail Buck!! SO I voted 24" WT!

Never hunted mule deer with anything other then a camera. But there is nothing like hunting a whitetail in the eastern woods, and a 24+ inch buck would definately set my heart to racing.

I've taken both and the Whitetail by far was the best kill of my life. The Muley is the biggest buck of my life so I don't know how to answer.

Ive never hunted Mulies. I voted 24" WT. Not saying I wouldnt shoot a mulie. Id love to hunt a mulie...

Just my experience, but it's much easier to get close to a big mulie than a whitetail. They are just much more timid. I think part of that has to do with the terrain I have hunted for both. The mulies I hunt are in the Texas panhandle and there is little cover, just cedar trees and canyons. Lots of spotting and stalking, but if you put in the hours, you'll find them.

I hunt whitetails in areas with tons of cover and they are just harder to find. Being so fearful of humans, spot and stalk hunting is much tougher and it's best to hunt them from stands or sitting still near known travel paths.

So, I voted 24 inch whitetail as I've almost killed a 30 inch mulie (29.25 spread).

I always thought that mule deer racks all look the same. Whitetails have much more character.

I have been fortunate and have taken a number ofMature Whitetails, It's my passion but I lust For a Giant Muley.

Why not have an option for both 30" mulie buck & 24" whitetail buck.
I would like to shoot both.

I like the both idea as well. I love hunting whitetailsand havebeen lucky enough to harvest some pretty good ones. They arethefuel to mypassion no doubt.BUTmonster mulies have been my nemesis![:@] So I guess I'll vote for the mulie buck side.I'dloveto harvest 200inchesof MulieAntler'snext time I draw a tag.
