Favorite Part of Hunting
I absolutely love hunting, as I'm sure we all do. But it's a deep passion; one that can be felt without the harvesting of a deer. It goes much deeper than that, and I can't quite get a grasp of it.
What are y'all's favorite things about deer hunting? I'm sure it's been asked before, but I'm interested in what y'all have to say.

I enjoy the time off from work. Our 2 main firearm seasons is the weekend before and after Thanksgiving so I basically off those 3 weeks. Then I enjoy the trip to camp, meeting up with hunting friends I only see once a year, getting out in the woods, etc, etc,.......Can't really come up with a favorite part. Just the whole season for me.

Sunrise, sunset and peace & quiet
My wife thinks I'm nuts but the most peaceful thing I've ever done was sitting on the edge of a woods a few years ago, it was less than 5 degrees, absolutely no wind (dead still) when the sun came up on my face, I felt warm and cozy. It was awesome!

I love seeing the deer in their environment. Peeking into their world without them knowing I am there. It's very peaceful. Along with that, I love the companionship of my hunting buddies. Dragging a deer out with a friend, whether it's mine or not, and sharing the stories always puts a smile on my face.
