smoking dope??!!!???!!!
 

I just got back from lunch and I overheard someone at another table talking about smoking marijuana while hunting.
Now i'm not really for it being criminalized and have never touched the stuff myself but... is that even ethical?
and couldn't that pose a danger to other hunters?
any thoughts?

i smoke Marlboro's and it dosn't seem to bother deer.i dont smoke weed so i couldn't tell you how it effects deer.say nope to dope. ok i read it wrong.in my opinion it put's the person thats smokeing it and everyone around them in danger.i know a guy that was high and had a 30-30 in his car and went to get his gun out of the car and the gun went off destroying the transmission on his car.

why would you even wonder if it's ethical when you know it's illegal? smoke'n dope is illegal in every state, the hunting part shouldn't even come into play. i'm sure there are hunters that do alot of illegal things but i don't need nor want to know if it's ethical or not.

Yep. Don't take the gun out of the case after you've had a drink. Don't take the gun out of the case if you've been smoking dope. Either way, you're an idiot if you do.

Hey... This is NOT the politics forum. If he was drinking prior to shooting his friend in the face, then it just proves the point that anyone who drinks and then packs a loaded gun into the field IS an idiot.

Cheney doesn't have to smoke dope/drink while hunting to be an idiot. He's doing a fine job stone sober!:D

i've known a lot of hunters, and a lot of pot smokers, but nobody who was both. its terrifying to think of a chemically altered person with a firearm.
