As memory serves, this is a Wisconsin deer. Back in the 80's there was a 6 pointer killed in Southern Illinois that grossed in the low 160's and netted in the high 150's, but it was lost in a fire at the taxidermist's before it could be mounted. Just like the above monster, it was huge in every aspect except number of tines.

Those are Ginormous.

The biggest oneI ever saw (live)would go around120. It had a 20" spread and main beams pushing 25"

I too have an interest in this topic. I shot one last fall ('06) that grossed 115, with 19 1/2" spread. He was about 6 1/2 years old, from MT.

Also, I may have to start a thread titled, 'Smallest 16-pointer'. I shot one this fall, aged 6 1/2 within a mile of last year's 6-pointer. He's going to gross maybe 130 counting all the nontypicals. The nontypical points are 7 in number, all little 1-3" stickers between the brows and burrs. He's really neat, with three matched sets of stickers, including one set that goes straight back toward his butt. Pictures of him don't do it justice, as the sticker tines aren't very big and come off at so many angles you need four different pictures to show them all.

My biggest 6 scored a 117 and had a 21 inch inside spread.
