Got My CT Mount back
 

Hope this link gives me a picture. There was a post with a lot of good stuff on mounts. This was done quick by an expierenced guy just happens he is in the service and just got in town without a backlog yet. If the picture dosn't popup may be someone out there can go fetch it at the URL and attach it. Thanks

Bigamy, Yes he was taken in NE Ct on Nov2 Scored 136/131 It was a long story but I didden't see the rack until after I shot him. I was on a either or permit and I could see he was big 200 lbs but his head was behind a tree the whole time. When I found him dead was the first time I saw the rack. when he bolted after the shot I didden't see him either, He bolted right into a thicket.

Striper, a few guys from NY I know hunt CT and they always seem to have some decent luck. What do you think? Do you see big bucks very often?

Bigameny, I have been pretty lucky the last few years with a hedding down hill 8 point last year and a 118 B&C 8 point two years ago. At the local meat cutter I get to see dozens of deer and there are only a few 100 point and up each year. At a local small bait shop there are three old mounts taken close to me and they all have to be 170 or better I will get some pics and post them soon. We have genetics for my 8 point with long thin tines I will post a pic soon anyway the g2 are 12 inches on a 18 inch spread. One of the bait shop racks is identical just twice as big.
