So I Need Some Help
SO this year I shot my first buck and I want to mount the antlers, there cut off of deer's skull, but I dont know what to do now, can someone please walk me through the easiest way of prepping them to go on the plaque?

You can buy those inexpensive do-it-yourself mounting plaques from Cabela's among other places. I would just remove all the flesh you can and let it dry thoroughly in the garage or some place the rats and squirrels can't get to it. Then trim the size to fit.

What I do is cut a piece of 1/2" plywood the size I want the cover over skull to be usually kind of an oval.Screw the skull plate to that then build the shape I want out of a powder that we mix up that is used for floor leveling then take buckskin and pull around and staple and hot glue to plywood then screw to plaque of choice.

u can get one of those do it your self antler plaques only cost 20 bucks or more get off all the hair boil it but salt or baking sodaon it (to get rid of smell) let it dry for a week or so then take it screw it on to the plaque and there! its done!
