Big the deer just seem to be i the peak of the rut now....its a good 2 to 3 week slate this year but seems to be running with a vengeance now. I was one of the complainers the week before gun season...but I started hunting again as soon as I got back down here and it has picked up nicely in the last week. That one on the bottom chased a doe past me and the one on top looked like it had been in a knife fight it was torn up so bad from fighting. They were rutting around the 19th for gun season up there and it hasnt gotten going well until December down here.

Nice deer. I am having my best season so far too. 2 does, and have seen several nice bucks. Now that I know where they are I can get em.
btw.. in Georgia the limit is 10 does and 2 bucks per season (gun season lasts over 2 months).

Way to go DD!! They are some really nice WV bucks. Funny thing is I had my dream season too with a couple of big ones. In my area the rut didn't seem to be in full swing until gun season. Both of the big guys i got were runnin between 10;20 and noon.
