I definitely love mine, this time of year i look forward to checkin my cams and seein what kind of deer made it through the season, and right now specifically i have it over a carcass and cant wait to check it, but i'd say its worth every penny. you dont need to go high-end to be satisfied, i've got about $150 into mine ($100 cam at walmart + accesories), imo its an invaluable scouting tool, its no substitute for puttin some miles on the ol' hiking boots and actually gettin in the woods, but thats not always an option and trail cams are a great addition to any arsenal.

It is like christmas morning everytime I go check on mine. I have 3 and am thinking about buying another.

Depending on your budget you can find just about one for everyone. I saw a Bushnell 1.3 megapixel cameraon sale for$35 the day after Thanksgiving. They eat batteries pretty quickly though.

If I end up buying another right now it will be a Moultrie I40 for right at $200.

LOL I use a cheap Wildview Extreme 2 and couldnt be happier for the price. Less than $100 in it including card and it does a wonderful job. Battery life is good...I get anywhere from 500 (cold weather) to 800 (warm) pics on a set of batteries.

as npaden said.
they eat batteries.
if you do buy one, buy some rechargabe batteries to go with it.
it's worth the extra buck for them.
it's ether pay 4 bucks for D or C cell batteries every time or buy rechargable for 10 once.

i give a lil over 300 dollars for the WILDLIFE EYE but it's fun and you never know whats on there till you get to it.makes you want to run toit cause your anchist to see whats been there.drury outdoors is where i first seen it in use and i was scared of waisting 300 bucks but it turned pretty good.

I have 2 Camtrakkers and a homemade, and I leave them out 9-10 months of the year. The highlight of my day is checking my cameras.
